I have heard that I cannot apply to the MD Program because I was a part-time student throughout the entire duration of my degree. Is this true?
This myth is FALSE.
Students who have completed their studies on a part-time basis may apply in the year that they will be completing their Bachelor’s degree. Students must use the Academic Explanations section of the OMSAS application to provide details on why they completed their degree on a part-time basis. U of T's admissions team will look at these situations on a case-by-case basis and may do a manual calculation of your admissions GPA.
