MD Admissions

The goal of the admissions process of the University of Toronto Medical School is to select individuals who will graduate to become superb and compassionate medical practitioners, scientists, and scholars, and to develop the future leaders of medicine in Canada.  From the discovery of insulin to the cloning of the cystic fibrosis gene, the Faculty has been the site of major breakthroughs in medical research. We also produce leaders in public health and primary care, and offer a multitude of opportunites for our students to get involved in extra-curricular activities whether through our Community Affairs programs or in organised athletic, social, or cultural pursuits.  The vast range of opportunities is one of the key advantages for our students.
